Who we are

The Legal Advice Clinic is a professionally supervised, student-run volunteer organisation. Our volunteers are equipped to guide a broad range of legal issues, with a particular focus on employment law and housing matters. While we offer written advice on the merits of your case and recommendations on how to proceed, please note that our services are limited to written legal advice.

Clients can expect to work with our trained volunteers. All work is rigorously supervised by practising solicitors to ensure the highest quality and professionalism.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to speak to clients directly, gain drafting experience and work closely with experienced lawyers.

What you'll do

In the first term, volunteers will be learning how to liaise with clients and draft responses to supervising lawyers.

The Clinic will run for 6-8 weeks starting in February. Client interviews will be conducted shortly after.
